The new hospital facility replaces the existing tower at the campus to meet the new more rigorous seismic safety standards. The project integrates new buildings with existing structures within a constrained, sloping site while maximizing pedestrian safety and way-finding. The new hospital was built just 25 feet away from the existing hospital and 70 feet away from other operational medical facilities. This project utilizes presto wall finish and alternating gray and beige broom finish concrete paving.
