The new Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion is 8 stories with the top two floors dedicated to research with clinics located in the remaining floors. The new center is designed to create a place where research scientist and physicians can work together in the same building. The building includes 6 levels of subterranean parking and is 450,000 square feet and is anticipated to receive Leed Gold certification. Shaw & Sons used Lithocrete fine finish L.Q.S. with natural grey banding and stainless steel donor plaques on the outside. The project also included side courtyards, walkways, slot drains and an auto drop off with stainless steel tactile warnings.
